What This Is

Turning Down the Volume combines modern hypnosis, breath and body practices, guided imagery, and neuroscience-informed pain education to help you reduce both the intensity and emotional burden of chronic pain.

This program is for people who are ready to try something different — not another fix, but a fundamentally different relationship with pain.

Rather than fighting your pain, you'll learn to work with your brain and nervous system. Through hypnosis, breath, and gentle somatic practices drawn from over 12 years of trauma-informed yoga, you'll develop tools that can reduce pain's intensity, loosen its emotional grip, and create genuine moments of relief and ease.


This is not about pretending the pain isn't there. It's about making it smaller.


The Program

Two 6-week series - Weekly 60-minute sessions in-person, Location at Salt Mind 100 Gorham Road, South Portland. Each session includes education, guided hypnotic experience, and reflection. Part One is the foundation — and complete in itself. Part Two goes deeper, for those who want to continue the journey.
