Somatic coach, Body-based healing, clinical hypnosis, and trauma-informed yoga for anxiety, grief, and chronic pain — Susannah Sanfilippo, Portland Maine

Susannah Sanfilippo's work is rooted in a simple but radical idea: that healing happens in the union - of breath with body, mind with body, body with ground, self connected with heart. This is the YOGA of Susannah. Not a style of postures, but a practice of coming home to your whole self.

She is a tenured yoga instructor, certified clinical hypnotist, embodiment practitioner, and somatic educator whose work draws on over 25 years of embodied practice, nervous-system science, mindfulness, breathwork, and movement. She is the founder of Yoga for Your Grieving Heart, maintains an active group yoga teaching practice, and has offered weekly Breathing & Meditation classes for four years, and has taught trauma-informed yoga for over 10 years with Sea Change Yoga. Through private coaching, hypnosis, and group facilitation, including workshops, organizational trainings, and community healing programs, she helps people gently unwind long-held patterns, regulate stress, and rediscover the quiet intelligence already living inside them.
